How QuotePilot handles your information

Preview information · November 2026. This page explains the current implementation, not a finalized legal privacy policy. It should be reviewed and replaced with an operator-approved privacy notice before a public commercial launch.

Important: QuotePilot is a work and bill planning tool, not a bank, payroll provider, or tax preparation service. Do not enter Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, full tax documents, card numbers, passwords belonging to other services, or other highly sensitive identifiers.

What you can record

QuotePilot lets you enter shifts and jobs, scheduled and actual earnings, tips, bill amounts and due dates, job templates, mileage, invoice details, and optional tax-preparation records. You choose what to enter. Calculations are estimates and depend on the accuracy of your entries.

On this device

QuotePilot stores records in your browser's local storage. That information may remain on a shared device or disappear if the browser's data is cleared. Use the Export backup option to save a copy you control. JSON backup files contain the information you entered; store them securely.

Accounts and cloud sync

If you create an account, Supabase provides authentication and stores your email address and the authentication records it needs to operate the service. QuotePilot does not save your account password in its own work records. After sign-in, the app attempts to sync your core work data to Supabase. Paid-only data is only eligible for cloud sync when a subscription has been verified. A saved local copy may remain on the device. Sync is based on document snapshots and can pause when devices conflict; it is not guaranteed real-time synchronization.

Cloud data is protected through Supabase access-control rules so authenticated users can access their own records. Data is not end-to-end encrypted by QuotePilot; the hosting and cloud-service operators may process it to deliver the service.

Other services and billing

QuotePilot uses Cloudflare Pages to host the web app, Supabase for accounts and cloud records, and third-party content delivery networks to load the Supabase JavaScript library. We are preparing to use Brevo for transactional emails, but it is not currently connected to Supabase's outgoing email service. These providers may process normal service requests and technical connection data. We have not enabled live Stripe checkout or collected subscription payments in the current preview.

Managing your records

Before the public launch

A public version will need an operator-verified support contact, a final privacy policy (including retention and deletion timelines), and reviewed terms of service. Until then, this is a limited prelaunch preview and should not be used for sensitive financial or tax records.
